This whole pandemic it happened at a very unfortunate time for our local charities. The beginning months and early spring are known as 'season' in SWFL. Its when the area is bustling with tourist and folks back to their winter homes. And its when many non-profits hold their big events. The kind of events that bring in their main revenue for the year. Some decided to post pone. Others decided to go virtual. The Junior Achievement Breaking Par Gala is one I've hosted for many years. This year we went the virtual route. Here I am hosting from my art studio. My girls played a small roll since they both did JA programs at their school and loved it! I also truly believe in their cause and wanted to help out by also donating a small painting for their silent auction.
