A southwest Florida treasure, the roseate spoonbill. This spoonbill is about to take flight from its abstract marsh its wading in. What a joy when we get a chance to see a single one or lucky enough to see them in a flock. Did you know it doesn't get it's pink feathers from diet but rather it gets pinker and almost red with age. You also can see they get their spoonbill name with their long curved beak.
Painting can be see in person and purchased at Gulf Star Marina on Fort Myers Beach.
